The Royal Institute of British Architects is not afraid of a good punch-up and it's now upset property developers by revealing that most new homes built in the UK are simply too small.

They're calling new builds "shameful shoebox homes" based on the fact that many of them are 8% smaller, or the size of a single bedroom, than the recommended minimum which is taken from new building regulations which have come into force in London.
