Cutbacks will see lollipop lady licked

The lollipop lady could soon be a dying breed as councils look to save money by dissolving their services.

A Times Educational Supplement survey has found that quarter of 60 regional councils are looking to cut back on crossing patrols outside schools, or scrap them entirely.
