X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has denied allegations she was abusive to British Airways cabin crew on a flight from London to Majorca.

The singer jetted off on a flight from London City Airport reportedly with her N-Dubz bandmate Fazer and an entourage.

A BA air steward reportedly asked Fazer to turn his mobile phone off when he continued using after the flight announcement requesting passengers not to do so.

According to the Daily Mirror, a source claimed Tulisa reacted angrily to the intervention.

The source said: 'It all suddenly kicked off. The BA guy was very mild-mannered and asked for the phone to be turned off.

'But Tulisa, who was sitting next to Fazer, got very angry.'

She allegedly told the steward to 'shut the f*** up'.

A BA spokesperson confirmed an incident had occurred, saying: 'British Airways has a record of an incident on a flight from London City to Palma, Majorca, involving two passengers using mobile phones.

'A lady in the party who wasn't using her phone was abusive towards the crew, telling them to leave her friends alone.

'BA takes a firm stance on the use of mobile phones. The incident was resolved by the cabin crew.'

But, according to the Metro, Tulisa firmly denies any wrongdoing, writing on Twitter: 'I completely deny that I was abusive to airline staff on our flight to Majorca a few weeks ago.

'My PA had a disagreement with staff over his mobile phone but I categorically did not swear at the steward.

'I'm disgusted that someone would make this up about me.'

And her lawyer reiterated the sentiments, explaining: 'At no stage was our client abusive or foulmouthed towards any member of the crew during the course of the flight.'
