EcoVelocity show is a winner

The first entirely green car show debuted in London when Mayor of London Boris Johnson led a cavalcade of the latest in electric cars into Battersea Power station on Thursday.

Driving these cars isn't restricted to our politicians though. Visitors can get behind the wheel and sample a range of electric, hybrid and diesel models from the likes of Nissan, Lexus, Vauxhall, VW, Honda and Seat on a specially-prepared track. While the circuit may initially seem fairly small, it does enable drivers to get feel of the car and the poor road surface is actually a benefit, demonstrating how these cars might fare on the UK's pot hole-riddled roads.
