Residents of Hemel Hempstead have been hit with £600,000 worth of fines in less than a month, due to a particularly lucrative new road traffic camera in the Hertfordshire town.

Despite a huge 10,000 drivers getting caught using a bus lane and the council inundated with complaints that the signage is wrong, it is refusing to suspend the controversial camera.
