Film star Reese Witherspoon taken to hospital after road accident

Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon was starkly reminded of the dangers of exercising when she was hit by a car during a jog.

Fortunately, the Legally Blonde star's injuries were minor, though concern was great enough for an ambulance to be called to take her to hospital.
