Security specialist Symantec has issued a report with the striking estimate that Cyber criminals are now costing the world £388bn. To put it in context, this is about $100bn a year more than the drug trade actually makes. Of course this is all estimate and guesstimate as by definition nobody can perform a thorough audit on illegal activities, but it's not an unlikely figure and it's a hell of a loss.
