Bus lane camera rakes in £600,000 a month

A new bus lane camera said to be bamboozling drivers is raking in £20,000 a day as a result – making it Britain's most lucrative.

The amount of cash it has made means it leapfrogs a temporary camera placed on the M6 near Carlisle, which in two months during 2010 generated half a million pounds.
