Fiesta tops chart as car sales rise for first time in a year

New car registrations rose for the first time in over a year in August – and the Ford Fiesta topped the best-selling charts once again.

In a shock return to positive figures, the new car market posted a 7.3 per cent rise with 59,346 units shifted during what's usually a quiet month for sales.
