Top Gear's Clarkson takes on new voice of TomTom

TomTom, the sat nav people, have hit on a briliant idea by asking professional motormouth Jeremy Clarkson to be the voice of their new system.

Though the bolshie, jeans-wearing host of Top Gear is a bit of a Marmite character – love him or hate him – there's no doubt that his popularity is massive across the 170 countries that BBC Worldwide flogs endless repeats of the lads' favourite TV show.

Now, in partnership with TomTom, BBC Worldwide is sharing one of Auntie's most colourful characters.
