Complaints at tax-payer-owned bank soar

What did we get when we bailed out the banks? There's the generation of financial chaos and debt, the toxic debt burden of the banks themselves, and the knowledge that this was all started by the irresponsible behaviour of those who should have known better. But surely we should have got something else. Is it impossible that we could have taken control in order to ensure these banks offered a modicum of customer service?

So far, the complaints data shows there's absolutely no sign of any improvements in this department.
