Trousersnake: Man arrested trying to smuggle reptiles in his pants
Look out Justin Timberlake, somebody is trying to steal your nickname.
A man has been arrested after attempting to board a flight from Miami to Brazil with exotic snakes and tortoises stuffed in his trousers, US officials have said.
A spokesman from the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Jonathon Allen, said the man was stopped after passing through a body scanner at Miami International Airport on Thursday.
Security officials spotted the women's tights filled with seven snakes and three tortoises hidden in the man's trousers.
According to the Daily Mail, the TSA said it used enhanced imaging technology to find the animals.
The South Florida Sun Sentinel newspaper reports that the animals were taken by the US Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the unidentified passenger was arrested.
The incident comes just days after a woman was busted trying to board a flight from California to China with an endangered bird strapped to her chest and another to her leg at LAX airport.
