Is trashing a cashpoint machine with your shoe really that funny?

On a rare night out this week I spent about an hour walking the abandoned streets of London looking for a cashpoint that was working, so I do have a little sympathy for the lass who trashed an ATM with her shoe after it failed to deliver.

When Wiltshire Police eventually track her down using the nicely framed CCTV video, maybe they can ask her why she didn't just walk away after the first failed attempt but continued to punch in her PIN number several times and then batter the machine with her wedge-heel shoe following each unsuccessful effort.
