Nasty things, car fires. Along with incredibly aggressive flames and particularly unpleasant thick smoke, there are a number of things just waiting to explode when the temperature gets high enough.

We don't mean explode like in the movies of course (unless you're in the business of transporting fuel drums on your back seat) we mean blow-up in the kind of short, sharp painful bang that you certainly wouldn't want to be standing next to.
