Brand new princess village to open in Disneyland in 2013
Concept art, Fantasy Faire: Disneyland
Following the success of Tangled, Rapunzel got her own tower (named after the movie), and Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White were left feeling a bit, well, put out.
So the kind people at Disneyland have decided to move them from the current shared room at the Fantasyland Theatre - and build them a brand new village called Fantasy Faire.
The new medieval village will be situated next door to the Sleeping Beauty Castle, and will feature storybook Tudor cottages, turreted towers, and a Fairy Tale Hall where young princesses-to-be can have photos taken with their idols.
The new village - at the current location of the Carnation Plaza Gardens - will also boast stage shows, food stands, retail shops, live music and swing dancing.
A similar Once Upon a Time princess meet-and-greet area is planned for the Shanghai Disneyland castle, set to open in late 2015 or early 2016.
