Double risk trouble for Lloyds

Adrian Holliday

Lloyds has more risky mortgages on its books than any other UK bank, by a substantial margin. It's thought 60% of its lending stock involve high or very high loan-to-value ratios, typically between 70 and 90% of a property's market value. Right behind Lloyds is RBS, with 40% of its loan book similarly exposed.
