Electric Camaro tears up the 1/4 mile strip in 10.08 seconds

We've heard of electric cars, but electric hot rods, well yes that too actually. Meet Ron Adamwicz's electric 1981 Chevrolet Camaro hot rod, or "Warp Factor II", which recently hauled itself down the strip at the Lebanon Valley Dragway in a highly impressive 10.08 seconds.

This equals a top speed of 127mph and puts the electric Camaro close to the 9.51 seconds set by the current record holder, Black Current, a converted Volkswagen Beetle.
