First drive: Lamborghini Aventador

There are things about the Lamborghini Aventador L700-4 that you probably already know. Unless you've been living under a stone for the past few months, you'll know about the all-new 6.5-litre 700PS V12 engine, the ISR single-clutch sequential gearbox and the lightweight carbon-fibre chassis.

The 0-60mph time of 2.9 seconds and the 217 mph top speed are common knowledge. Rather than parrot spec sheet facts and figures back to you, it would seem a waste of a few hours with an Aventador at my disposal not to let you know what this thing really feels like.
