Women urged to stay safe on the roads

On the 25th anniversary of the disappearance of estate agent Suzy Lamplugh, a breakdown company and a former Blue Peter presenter have released a leaflet aimed at advising female drivers on how to stay safe on the roads.

The campaign, which is being backed by TV presenter Konnie Huq, is aiming to advise women on all manner of motoring matters, including basic car maintenance, what to do in the case of a breakdown and what items drivers should keep in their cars at all times.
