Tuner pushes Audi A1 beyond 200mph

Some of you may remember the 495bhp A1 Clubsport Quattro that Audi took to the annual VW extravaganza at Worthersee this year. That car featured a heavily-modified version of the 2.5-litre inline-five engine which also graces the TT-RS and RS3 Sportback, and was capable of 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds.

Impressive. More impressive, you might think, than the 500bhp A1 that tuner MTM has turned out. That also gets a breathed on version of the five-pot puncher, but it only manages 0-62mph in around 4.5 seconds.
