Hamilton ecstatic about victory

Starting from second on the grid, Hamilton had already seized the lead by the time they entered the first corner and spent the rest of the race battling it out with Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber. After crossing the finish line first, he was ecstatic.

"Every win is special, but with the emotion, the effort and the energy that the team put into this win today, it all feels even more special than usual," said the McLaren man with a broad grin across his face. "Going into the weekend, I said that I would be taking each race as it comes. So this win today was a really positive result. But there's still a long way to go, and a lot will depend on consistency and pace."
