Cute alert! Baby loris rescued in China

A baby loris has been rescued by a wild animal shelter in the People's Park of Zhengzhou, the capital of central China's Henan Province.

The loris, suffering from malnutrition, was found injured in a vegetable field on Tuesday. Growing in south areas of China, the nocturnal primates are now given national first-class protection.

Zoos and animal protection organisations are working around the globe to protect the loris, which is under threat from global deforestation.
