In one area the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport doesn't match up to the likes of the Mazda MX-5, the Mercedes SLK or even the Renault Wind. Its roof is not one you can whip on or off depending on the weather.

The standard offering is a removable hard-top that you leave in your vast garage while you head out to enjoy the sunshine in your £1.2m convertible. However, Bugatti does provide an emergency solution in the form of a canvas umbrella-style roof to protect you and the car's plush interior should the heavens open before you make it home, as is often the case in our fair isle.
