S&P join Moody's on US downgrade

The Obama administration appears on the verge of another credit downgrade. Standard & Poor's has followed Moody's by warning it could snip the US triple AAA credit rating if there is no agreement soon on upping the government's debt threshold. Time is running out; it's getting fractious.
