Kate Middleton's Volkswagen Golf on eBay

The chance to own a bit of Royal motoring history doesn't come up very often. However, if you've got over £20,000 burning a hole in your back pocket, the future Queen of England's 2001 Volkswagen Golf is now for sale on eBay.

Kate Middleton owned this three-door, 2001, 1.4-litre model when she met Prince William at the University of St Andrews. Realistically worth about £2,000, but with Kate now known as Her Royal Highnesses Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus, the value of the car has increased substantially.
