Ford reveals Fiesta price drop and new trim option

Good news if you're in the market for a Fiesta this summer - Ford is set to drop the list price of its hugely popular supermini by £500, and also launch a raft of special editions aimed at keeping the car fresh.

Cash-strapped buyers will doubtless welcome the reduction in the model's entry level list price to £9,495, but the manufacturer is also adding another trim level intended to offer more choice at the cheaper end of the range.
