Video: Grand-Am driver flies at Road America

Grand-Am driver Gunter Schaldach had an eventful race at Road America last weekend through no fault of his own.

The Banner Racing Chevrolet Camaro GT.R driver suffered brake failure when behind the Mazda RX-8 of Joe Foster and was unable to avoid him as they came to the first corner on the track.

Contact was made and while Foster was sent onto the gravel Schaldach was a passenger as his car careered towards the tyre barriers and over the catch fencing.

Scary stuff but fortunately neither driver was hurt. Watch the video below.
