Seven is magic number as Kia launches summer deals
Just one day after celebrating its 20th anniversary in the UK, Kia has launched a range of offers to entice summer buyers into the showrooms.
Running until September, the Korean manufacturer has cut VAT on all its cee'd models to seven per cent as it makes a big play on its favourite digit - seven is the number of years on a warranty buyers get when they buy a new Kia.
This means that you can now own an entry level 1.4 pro_cee'd '1' from £11,938, a 1.4 cee'd '1' from £12,116 and a 1.6 cee'd SW '2' from £14,124. The deal doesn't extend to the VR-7 special edition though. Instead VR-7 buyers will receive a £500 contribution towards a PCP agreement.
Other offers include £2000 off Rio and Venga models with the company's seven-year switch programme. This allows customers trading in a seven to 10-year-old car with less than 100,000 miles on the clock and a valid MOT to benefit from the £2,000 offer.
Picanto owners aren't forgotten either; if they trade in their old generation model they are eligible for a £500 'loyalty reward' on the new version while Sorento and Carens fans can expect £1500 reductions and Soul 'Echo' buyers will see £1,000 knocked off their purchases.
