Where are the speed cameras that raise all the cash?

Damian Wilson

Having long-denied that those cursed speed cameras were little more than cash cows, local councils are finally to reveal those raking in the most revenue, so we can decide for ourselves.

Rather than flash a light at offending motorists, some Gatso cameras should emit a loud "Kerching!" instead, particularly those on the M11 in Essex, Battersea Bridge Rd in South London, Poole in Dorset, Kentish Town in North London and the M5 in Bristol which coin in at least £1 million per camera each year.
