Final Bugatti Veyron sold
Seven years after the first one headed to a lucky (and stupendously wealthy) new owner, the final Veyron has rolled off the painstakingly dedicated and detailed production line at Bugatti.
In total 300 of the 987bhp hypercar have been made, so if you are after one now you are going to have to go to one of the privileged few that managed to scrape together the million quid or so to get one on your driveway.
An unnamed European customer will be the last to take delivery of a hard-top Veyron, with his car arriving in the autumn.
However, you should still be able to get the Grand Sport convertible version, which Bugatti will continue to make until 150 have been sold.
Bugatti boss Wolfgang Durheimer said: "In the Veyron, the Bugatti team has created a vehicle that has already become an icon. The Grand Sport is a further pinnacle of achievement in the open-top sports car segment and we intend to maintain the same standard in our future Bugatti products."
