As our readers may know, we're reaching the business end of the Pikes Peak week in Colorado, one of the most daunting rally challenges on the global motorsport calendar.
With stages along the 12-mile route such as Ragged Edge and Devil's Playground - and that's before you reach Bottomless Pit - Pikes Peak holds some pretty daunting challenges and for one driver, the practice runs have already brought an 'interesting' moment.
Privateer Bill Caswell, who's made a name for himself on the World Rally Championship with his exploits at Rally Mexico and is competing in the Time Attack class at Pikes Peak in a BMW 318i, was filming a practice run when he had a spin.
Nothing unusual in that in this sport, of course, but when you're a few thousand feet up a mountain pointing at the clear blue sky, it probably gives you pause for thought.
