World drifting record broken at Mercedes Benz World

A test driver has succeeded in his attempt to drive a Mercedes C63 very quickly around in a circle over a distance of 2308 metres and has broken a record in the process.

Sounds easy, but as Mauro Calo managed to keep his car sliding sideways for all eight laps of the Mercedes Benz world track and break the record for the world's longest drift it was quite an achievement.
