Guess which nationality has the least holiday sex of all?
No sex please - we're British. That seems to be the message from a recent survey, which found that Brits are have less holiday sex than any other nationality.
More than 1,000 respondents from 19 countries were questioned about what they did in hotel beds other than sleeping. A paltry one in four Brits (27.5 per cent) say they had sex.
Reading, eating, watching TV and surfing the net were all high on the list - but the amount of romantic activity appeared to be dependent on the nationality of the guests.
The Spanish came out top of the European charts as far as sex was concerned, with 62 per cent claiming they did it - lots. The Danes came in second with 51 per cent, while the demure Germans (29.2%) and the ever-so-restrained Brits sat at the bottom.
Conversely, the British are the nationality that is most likely to sleep naked (24.5% revealed this fact) said hotels.com poll.
But how truthuful are these Brits abroad being? This research contradicts recent findings from holiday company Kuoni, which found that, far from being restrained on holiday, Brits were much more likely to have adventurous sex on holiday than when they're at home.
