BMW reveals new M5 performance saloon

After an unofficial sneak preview of the new M5 was leaked onto the internet, BMW has released official pictures of the high performance saloon.

As was widely expected, the car features a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces a massive 552bhp – a 10 percent increase over the old V10 unit that sat in the M5's predecessor. This means the new car is able to accelerate to 62mph in just 4.4 seconds, and 124mph in 13 seconds.
