Video: Bike legend Eddie Kidd completes latest challenge
We have to admit that the news that Eddie Kidd had completed the London Marathon yesterday, 51 days after setting out from Greenwich Park, brought tears to our eyes.
The former motorbike stunt rider, who was left severely injured after an accident in 1996, didn't let his disability deter him from the challenge of the Marathon and he walked up to a mile each day in a bid to complete the course and raise money for charity.
As Kidd crossed the line in the Mall at the end of his long trek that has so far helped to raise £90,000 for Children with Leukaemia he was met by former boxer Michael Watson, who presented him with his finisher's medal.
Hats off to Eddie for his heroics and in recognition of his efforts, here are a couple of videos to remind us just how cool he was on a bike back in the day.
