Summer comes early to Austria as VW reveals 266bhp Golf R Cabrio

Volkswagen turned up the heat at this week's GTI extravaganza in Worthersee yesterday by revealing a Golf R convertible.

The 266bhp concept uses the same 2.0-litre petrol engine as the hatchback, and is said to manage the sprint to 62mph in less than six seconds.
