Cancel the BBQ! Bank Holiday set to be a washout

Any dreams of throwing another shrimp on the barbie over the Bank Holiday weekend have been dashed by weather forecasters.

According to theweatheroutlook.com, showers will develop in many parts of Britain today.

And the weather prospect for the Bank Holiday is pretty mixed, with 'bands of cloud and rain pushing south across the country, but fading as they do so'.

By the time they reach the south, there's likely to be little rain left, but cloudy conditions are expected.
