Ford creates ECG seat which could warn drivers of heart attacks

Fighting your way to work in the morning is about the most stressful thing you can do while still sitting down (unless your job involves bombing Libya) so its hardly surprising that more and more of us are succumbing to heart attacks at the wheel.

Unfortunately that's bad news not only for the defunct ticker in your chest, but also the other people on the road around you. In response to the problem Ford has created a car seat which could one day lead to an onboard health-monitoring system that would warn the driver of impending heart problems.
