Ever wondered where those jet-setting fashion designers go on holiday or what they pack in their suitcases?

New scrapbook-style travel book American Fashion Travel, allows you to explore the world through the eyes of American's top designers through their holiday pictures, questionnaires, personal anecdotes and memorabilia.

Diane von Furstenburg, Betsey Johnson, Tommy Hilfiger and Donna Karan are just a few of the designers who tell all about their travels and give tips and inspiration for your holidays.

Hilfiger cites Istanbul's Grand Bazaar as his favourite market and surprisingly, Diane von Furstenburg doesn't pack a lot in her luggage, but always carries a camera and hiking boots!

'I travel light. I think the most important thing is to be in a good mood and enjoy life, wherever you are,' she reveals.
