Just a week after his sixth place at Rally Italia, Dani Sordo and the MINI John Cooper Works WRC car will be reunited this weekend at the Cornbury Park Rally Show.
The Spanish driver will put the car through its paces on 14 and 15 May, in its first outing since the FIA World Rally Event.
The 1.1 mile stage at Cornbury Park will be the first event where British Rally fans will get to see the MINI in action on home soil.
After the excitement of last weekend in Sardinia, Dani Sordo said, "It will be great to be back in the MINI John Cooper Works WRC so soon after our debut in Italy. I know that everyone in the UK wants to see the car in action and I aim to give the thousands of rally fans at Cornbury Park a great display."
Autoblog has been lucky enough to be offered a passenger ride in the MINI WRC at the show and we'll bring you our thoughts on the car and an interview With Dani Sordo next week. We can't wait.
Other World Rally cars getting some exercise in the Cornbury grounds include Ford's current rally weapon, the Fiesta WRC, with Henning Solberg at the wheel.
