Fuel protests at Ellesmere Port refinery but tankers still get through

Fuel protesters have targeted a major oil refinery in an effort to pressurise the Government to reduce fuel duty.

Around 100 lorry drivers and other protesters staged go-slows on the roads leading to the Stanlow oil refinery in Ellesmere Port before aiming to impose a blockade on traffic entering and exiting the site.
