McLaren MD hints at race-inspired MP4-12C

McLaren Automotives MD, Anthony Sheriff, has given the biggest hint yet that a race-inspired, sportier version of the MP4-12C is on its way.

Speaking at the launch of the MP4-12C GT3 racer this morning, at the company's Technology Centre HQ, Sheriff hinted that a future performance development of the road car could feature the GT3's more aggressive, wider bodywork modifications. However, he said "that's for another press conference."
