German petrol station charges 10 Euros a litre

Updated

A German filling station chose to hit back at a fuel shortage in its area by attempting to discourage drivers by charging €9.99 a litre for its super unleaded petrol.

Most drivers turned away from the station at Filderstadt, near Stuttgart, although several ignored or failed to see the warning signs pasted on the pumps and were faced with a huge bill when they got to the cash register.
