Driver jailed after smashing through level crossing in police chase

A driver who narrowly avoided a train as he smashed through a level crossing during a six-mile police chase has been jailed for three-and-a-half years.

As the video below illustrates, Terence Fowler, 20, of Peyton Avenue, March, paid no attention to his safety nor of other road users as he tried to shake off police between Peterborough and Whittlesey in June last year.
