Video: Empire State Building struck by lightning three times in a row

You're pretty unlucky if lightning strikes once, never mind three times - but when you're made of metal and 102 storeys high, it's an occupational hazard!

A storm in New York this week saw the Empire State Building struck three times in a rapid succession, and it was all caught on camera.

The city's iconic building is thought to be struck an average of 100 times a year by lightning - but not usually three times in one sitting.
