Lexus has revealed its LF-Gh hybrid concept car in full ahead of its debut at the New York motor show.
The Japanese firm says the car represents a 'clean sheet of paper' approach to its design.
The LF-Gh's styling gives some immediate hints as to what the next-generation GS will look like, but also represents a new styling direction for the manufacturer.
There are some familiar lines around the rear windows and along the sills of the concept car, but the sharp edges of the front grille and boomerangs in the rear lights are a BMW-esque departure for Lexus.
We can expect the detail of the front to be toned down a bit when it comes to production models, but the LF-Gh is certainly aggressive.
The concept car appears to be purely a design exercise at the moment, with no details on any potential innovations in the hybrid underpinnings.
