Introducing Hampshire's new family theme park!

Updated

Here's a new theme park that will no doubt get the little ones squealing with excitement: Peppa Pig World opens its doors in Hampshire.

Set in Paulton's Park, a theme park just outside Romsey, near Southampton, it's like a heaven for the under 5s.

There are seven rides, gentle and perfect for toddlers, including Daddy Pig's Car Ride, Grandpa Pig's Boat Ride and Peppa's Big Balloon Ride.

There's also a large playground, featuring the Muddy Puddles corner, where kids can splash about in the plentiful squirts of water.

And, as usual, there's a shop selling anything and everything Peppa Pig that your imagination could possibly conjure up.

You can even win a special breakfast with Peppa and George by entering their mini competition.

And, while the older ones might not be so entranced, the rest of Paulton's Park offers grown-up rides and more fun to be had.

Peppa Pig World opened in April. It is part of Paultons Park, just off Exit 2 of the M27, close to the edge of the New Forest National Park. For satellite navigation, the postcode is SO51 6AL.

Tickets cost £21per person (or £19.50 if booked online). Children who are under one metre are free, and a family of four costs £80 (or £74 if booked online).
