First MG6 to leave Longbridge next week

The all new MG6 is about to hit British roads. At 10.00am on April 13th the first (of many, hopes MG) MG6 will roll off the production line in Longbridge. It's the first all new MG to leave the line in 16 years.

The MG6 is priced from £15,495 and comes with only one engine from launch – a 158bhp, 158lb ft turbocharged 1.8-litre unit. While it's cheap compared to its competition, the MG6's 184g/km CO2 is a little on the high side.

A diesel model is expected to join the line up, but not quite yet.
