Video road test: SEAT Leon Cupra R

SEAT's Leon has spawned some hot models in previous FR and Cupra versions, but the latest 261bhp Cupra R is the hottest yet. Aimed at serious hot hatch buyers, is this the bargain Golf R rival it seems? We spent a week with it to find out.

On first look it's too similar to the Leon Cupra, but look closer and there have been a number of bespoke changes to the exterior. Most are at the back, the biggest difference being the addition of a set of snorty twin centre exhausts with a custom rear diffuser and a discreetly extended rear spoiler.
