He's tried Formula One (pretty well, it has to be said) then rallying, but now Kimi Raikkonen is looking across the Atlantic and a chance to go - truck racing.
Yes, the 2007 F1 world champion is weighing up his options for the NASCAR Truck Series and will test for the first time next week with the team run by one of the championship's leading drivers, Kyle Busch.
Busch's Motorsports team officials confirmed that Raikkonen's test will be held at Gresham Motorsports Park in Georgia where the Finn will experience an oval track for the first time before he makes his truck race debut, probably in Charlotte next month.
Raikkonen is looking forward to the test but realises he has a challenge ahead.
"I'm really looking forward to get there to familiarise to the world of NASCAR," Raikkonen told Finnish newspaper, Turun Sanomat. "I have been following it for a long time. I know it's a very tough and open top racing series.
"I just love the American spirit of racing. It feels just great to get involved with that. Obviously, it will be very challenging and great fun for me."
If Raikkonen does make the move, then the video below gives a hint as to what he can look forward to.
